Mike, Using an outgoing filter, Evolution(v1.4.4) will kickoff a clamav scan and happily identify infected outgoing emails but only AFTER delivering it to the SMTP server. Other than as a way to sort outgoing mail this outgoing filtering is useless in preventing outgoing virus infected emails. Have you looked into adding a filter to your outgoing SMTP server ?
