I have checked some other Solaris machines and it seems to a problem on x86 system only. IT works on SPARC. I have spotted: WARNING: Unable to determine FPU endianess, some features may not be available in this build config.log on X86 system is #define WORDS_BIGENDIAN 0 config.log on SPARC
