what is our policy regarding the since, status and specnote tags? I have
seen @status entries being replaced by @specnote and thought they should
not be used any more but then I found them again in newer classes. That
leads my to following questions:
What should @specnote or @status

Should @version tags removed whenever seen?

The @version tag is unused. Some classes use it. We should remove it
everywhere as I don't see it gives any real informations

Sometimes we mention the class status in the header comments (perhaps
with @status, though I haven't looked for that). I usually
