Hi,
This bug says that VDI data is unrecoverable, but I've been able to
recover it twice.
Do a Xen snapshot for this VDI, then clone it. Now change CS DB entry
for the old VDI and put the new one. You VM should start.
Good luck!

Never mind ... After applying the XenServer Platinum License (never expiring)
to the new host, the
host joined the cluster. Apparently, the default, limited license doesn't work
for a second host added to
a cluster in a Basic Network Setup.

Need to know what state the volumes for this VM are in and also the status of
the pool to which they are assigned to.

Hi Prachi,
The snippet for job-2384 can be found downloaded from
https://citrix.sharefile.com/d/s0e5a844f0e84dd1a
It's a bit long for cut and paste, but here's a download link that will remain
active for a year.

SSVM and CPVM are deployed automatically; VR gets deployed along with the
first user vm in the network. CloudStack shouldn't have allowed you to
remove the host when there are system vms running on it (vm type doesn't
matter here); if it did - it's a bug. Please file it.

I used the Basic Network Setup Wizard to setup my cloud.
So, those three "system" VMs were automatically created for
me. That's the context for my use of the term "automatic".

These guys were running:
s-1-VM
v-2-VM
r-4-VM
but were created by CSMS behind the scenes.
What I meant was there were no VMs that I explicitly created using
the GUI by "adding an instance" that were still running.
In my opinion, if CSMS automatically creates VMs (say those three system VMs),

But in your previous email you've me
host id=1 was always removed using the API.
I don't believe any non-system instances were ever running when
deleteHost was executed.
No error was ever observed after running deleteHost API.

Hi Donal,
Can you provide entire snippet for the job-2384? Looks like a new pool got
assigned to the already created data disk and since it is not recreatable, the
new pool cannot be used.
The log snippet might help showing why a new pool is assigned.

Using a long running CloudStack 3.0.3 deployment, I came up against a
StorageUnavailableException error when starting a VM that had been created in
the stopped state.
Any suggestions on how to narrow down the problem further?

Hi Edison,
I think it would be doable with X-Forwarded-For as workaround in some
cases.
For Apache:
-
SetEnvIf X-Forwarded-For ^10\.1\.1\. proxy_env
Order allow,deny
Satisfy Any
Allow from env=proxy_env
I've done this multiple times due to construction we had at our datacenter
and faulty racks (Damn you APC and you not-lined up racks!)
So there are a couple of ways to do this, so I'll speak from my experience.
1. Shut down all user VMs.
2. Place primary storage pools into maintenance, this will
Hi,
I am trying to add a host-only interface to the DevCloud VM, so that I
can have other VMs (not nested ones) on the same internal network.
I have a centOS 6.2 VM setup with host-only and it works as expected.
Somehow the eth1 that I added to DevCloud in /etc/network/interfaces
receives all the
