SSL encrypted connection is the only way for mgmt/agent communication since CloudStack 2.2.x, so it's not the problem. Also port 8250 is the port used for communication since - I didn't remember when... So please check your network, or check host's agent. I don't think cloud-agent is in the repo

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm using KVM. If I try and do a yum update on the cloud-agent, on the host machine, yum returns that there is no update available for it. I've even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the cloud-agent. Also the cloud-agent service is running on the host. I cann
