I don't know how BMS handles their patient assistance program but I think Novartis has in the past assisted people in getting Gleevec on the formulary list with insurance companies. It might be a good idea to talk to someone at BMS and see if there is anything the drug company can do to help get Sp

It varies a lot from state to state but Medicaid usually allows people to keep a house, a car, etc. It does not allow patients to have very much in their name but is often the only option open to people with serious illnesses because of the way the healthcare system works. Hi Katy, My heart goes out to you and to all who are struggling to buy these cancer drugs. I think we should all write our congressmen and anyone else who will listen. A person with cancer is usually so scared they will pay any price for a cure. They are feeding on this fear and it just isn't ri
