Hi! I live in Minnesota and am cold all the time. The summers are warm, but
I'm still cold. This is definitely not a coincidence. I am pretty convinced
that the CML and/or the Gleevec are causing at least a fair amount of my
struggle with this deep, inner core feeling of being cold.

Hi Lee,
I'm cold most of the time also. We moved from Northwest Indiana to
Springfield, MO. two years also. The winters are not so bad here. I turn the
heat
up, my wife turns it down. I'm going to have to get one of those clear boxes
that cover up the heat control and keep the key.
I also suffered from the cold. I started taking B-12 shots every month and the
cold feeling has gone away.

learned..the side affects come and go.don't seem to

Lee,
I had the same thing happen to me for about 6 months or so after
starting Gleevec. It went away and hasn't returned in the last 18
months. I do seem to be less tolerant of the cold weather than I used
to be. But that could also be a result of getting older, too.

In simple terms, Osmolality refers to the level of concentration of
something suspended in solution, such as calcium levels in the blood
plasma. It is like putting sugar into iced tea; the sugar disappears
as it is suspended in the liquid.

Dear Lee, I was dx'd in late 2004 and being cold has been a problem
for me. It did not occur until after I discovered I had CML so I'm not
really sure if it is caused by the CML or Gleevec but I believe it to
be a common complaint from other members of the group. Hopefully
