Dear Patrick, I was diagnosed in 2005, and have had 4 bone marrow tests done the first 2 years and have not had one since. My Onoc does the pcr test every 3 months and feels as long as that is good there is no need. I am not going to argue with him, a blood test is much easier. Good luck\ caro

My onc has told me that if my CBC and BCR-ABL all come back normal, there is no need for BMB. If those numbers start changing, especially in the bcr-abl, that's when I have had to go back and have a BMB. I was on Gleevec for 1 1/2 years when my numbers starting going up on the bcr-abl, that's wh
