Hi:
I have had problems with itchy skin since starting on Gleevec. I've
been on 400 mgs for almost 5 years and the itchiness comes and goes.
The best thing that helps me the best is taking Allegra once a day.
It gets rid of the itchiness for me.

I gave them the kit and they went to a doctor's office and had their
blood drawn.
The technician did give them a hard time at first because they weren't
sure how to bill everything. The doctor finally went in and said to
just do it and not wor

I just got an email from my aunt and she mentioned that my uncle is
eating yogurt to help settle his stomach. He is currently getting
treated for prostate cancer. I'm going to keep some in the house and

When I first started on Gleevec I felt like I was coming down with the
flu. I had chills and aches and pains and really felt terrible
especially in the evenings. If I remember right it lasted a couple
months. Gleevec's side effects kind of cycle and change daily it seems
like.

The doctor may stop Gleevec for a few weeks to give your Mom's counts
time to adjust. That's what my doctor did. Other than that 400 mg a
day is the best dose to receive. Anything lower than that is not
effective.

I get chills off and on. It cycles like all of the other side effects
on Gleevec. I just wrap myself up in a blanket and wait for them to go
away.

Good to hear from you. Sorry about the GVHD on your skin. Hopefully
the steroids will take care of it. And I hope you recover from your
