Mile, I have an arm monitor and a wrist monitor, but not as high tech as yours. My BP was always high lately. I go for a follow up in three weeks. Wish I didn't have to take more meds, I have quit using table salt and watch the labels when I shop for groceries. Time will tell.

Blood Pressure med is called Diltiazem (Calcium Channel Blocker). I take 180 mg daily. I go back in about three weeks for follow up. Can't say as I feel any better. For past six months when I had an appt. with one of my doctors, it was always elevated140's/mid 80's, so the decision was mad

glean the knowledge. I was dx on 9/11. In total remission. Take Gleevec (300 mg) per day. Some side affects, but am able to manage them. Alot of edema around the eye and eyebleeds occassionally, but feel blessed that I am doing as well as I am.
