JAL has just announced he is 100% cured. Isn't he on Gleevec? Am I to
understand that he is 100% molecular clean? Is he going to stop taking
Gleevec now that he is "cured?" anyone know? I thought the only
"known" cure for CML was a BMT...I've been told not to stop taking
Gleevec no matter how low

No, It's Mary Beth Rios out of MD Anderson in Houston. She's been
right by my side since 1998 when I started with my first clinical
trial of HHT/Ara-c...she has a daughter who lives in Chicago
though..going to med school, I think! ;)

said "no one was sure" about CML and procriteven my 23 yr old son
said it was a no brainer..."mom, why would you even risk taking

Has been a long time since I've posted, but read frequently. Just a
quick history...was diagnosed in 1997...have been on Gleevec since
1999...am currently on 800mg day since I can't remember..2002??
anyway..besides memory loss..:)...feel pretty good..no really bad side
effects..just
