today my mother got her result, 4 months ago she was 0,059, but today she is
0,084, I`m worried.
She has been in gleevec for 11 years.
the last 5 years has been going up and down, I mean, once she was 0,079,then
0,059, then 0,09, then 0,059 again and now 0,084.
what do you think?

Hi Peg,
Good luck on your journey with Tasi. As you know, my journey with it was
not good. It did a good job of lowering my counts but then I had to have
blood transfusions so keep a good eye on your blood counts. Starting Tasi
started my side pain, and I was tested for pancreatitis, test

dose for yourself. I hope and pray it works well for you with minimal side
effects...and put you back into remission.
Take good care and keep us posted! Beth

I assign a Zero Club number once you reach CCR. I don't recall assigning you
one in the past, so enjoy it.
PCR values tend to fluctuate. It takes 3 consecutive results to establish a
trend. I would only worry if there

My PCR results were as follows:
BCR-ABL p210 transcripts were detected with a p210 to ABL RATIO OF 0.24626
My doctor was really happy with this.
I have been on Sprycel for about 7 months now. As you know, I had
relapsed on Gleevec and then on Tasigna.
I think the Sprycel is going to
Hi all,
Does Medicare pay for the PCR TEST NOW.
I know they use to but I thought I heard where they quit paying for them
saying they weren't necessary.
Thanks,

Hi Everyone: I finally got my PCR results back, and I am at
0.000. My lab does not break anything else down. It just gives me a
response of Negative for any Cancer.
Thats good enough for me. This makes it 71/2 years now of
remission for me.

Does anyone know the PCR baseline for Quest labs? Thanks!

What is the point of a periodic bone marrow biopsy once pcr reaches
undectable levels? What does the biopsy tell you that the pcr test
does not? I am asking because my doctor did an initial biopsy, but
after that has felt that the pcr test was the way to go.
