Sandy, I agree that 19 out of 1000 positive for PCR is an unusual way to express PCR results. What exactly did it say on the PCR report? That may be helpful. Did it say 0.019% BCR-ABL/ABL? Or did it just say 19% BCR-ABL/ABL and the sensitivity is 1 out of 1000 cells? This is one reason w

Sandy, something I think is wrong with the data, either as you have presented it or as told to you by your doctors. At this stage (after 6 months on Gleevec), the FISH test is virtually useless. The PCR is the only one that counts. In the PCR test, 1-2 million cells are examined. 19 out of 100
