you MUST talk to this group first to be "added" to the assistance program before they will accept the application that Rob sent the PDF file for earlier.
 
If you DO have insurance....this is how it works.....through the normal assistance program you do NOT qualify if you DO have insurance.   HOWEVER.......if you DO have insurance....you call the above number, and they will take your information.  They they will call you insurance company to verify coverage, etc.   Also, to help get the drug qualified if needed.  
 
Then, if you need assistance with the co-pay (which we will!!), they can then refer you to an additional department called the Co-Pay Foundation, which will then require your income verification, etc and then will help in some way...whether a partial or full reimbursement of the co-Pay.  
 
 
YES, it does seem more complicated than Novartis is.
 
I was stressing because while Terry is currently covered by health insurance, our income is too low to pay co-pays, etc.    He is still on a medical study so he gets Dasatinib for free, but that can end at any time & I want to know our options.
 
I was very upset by Jane's co-pay that I wanted to know what steps I will need to take if & when the time comes.
