Are no math functions in PIPEs?
I want a sum total of all numbers in a column
pipe user data a | specs w 6 1 |cons
Will display all the numbers, I just need to add them up.

Presuming that you are running the Pipelines Runtime Library (RTL) version
of Pipes, enter: Pipe Help SpecTut (as in SPEC Tutorial)
But studying at the PDF is a big help.
All will be answered. Not that it's easy mind you, but it's amazing what
the Piper crammed into SPECS!

There is also a COMPUTE stage on the VM Downloads page if you need to do some
math using
literals and/or other columns.
