I owned a '90 37+ with a centerboard. 4'10" draft with the board up & 8'3" down. That was a nice combination. Unfortunately there were structural problems with the backstay chainplates(one partially pulled through). The aft bulkhead was only tabbed to the hull in spots not completely as expected

David, I totally agree with what the other 37+ owners have to say about racing and cruising. The holding tank is small 17 USG for cruising the Great Lakes but the boat is easily modified to get 45 USG. The PHRF rating alone should tell you its a fast boat for racing. Its an easy boat to sail
