I don't currently have a use for them but if no one else is interested,
I'll take them off your hands. I would rather see someone who had a use
for them get them. Thanks for the generosity.

Your 25 was no doubt built in Canada and has an accurate MIC for the
Canadian plant, as the Rhode Island plant didn't exist when that boat
was built. When it was built, CCY was still the legal MIC for C&C Yachts
of Canada. That changed irrevocably when the Rhode Island plant went

Dave,
The output wire from your alternator should go through the battery switch on
the way to the battery, as well should the main starter wire. There
shouldn't be anything consuming power that is grounded to the engine with
the switch off. I would think that the bilge pump and radio are grou

My friend Richard Stoltenhoff had a30-2 which he claimed was the original show

My 30-2 is a 1990 product with the shoal keel. I don't recall seeing any 1991

Rick,
I've made a habit of writing down C&C 25 HINs every time I see one in a
boatyard or when one comes up for sale and the owner lists the HIN. What I'm
curious about is how many were built in each year of the production run, but it
also gives me some insight into your question. I've got a
I was thinking about this issue today and remembered something that might be
relevant. When I was checking the panel, I was surprised to find that I had
continuity between the two poles of the starter switch. When I disconnected
the wires from the switch, the poles worked appropriately: no con
Were you able to find the proper internal mast track cars for this? I'm trying
to do the exact same thing on my 85' 33 Mk2 and having a heck of time finding
the right parts. Adding a T-Track doesn't seem like a good/easy answer as the
internal track is an inch wide and standard 1.25" track has a
David,
Check the on the two wires you removed from the switch. One should be the hot
wire from the ignition switch (or battery), the other should be the "hot" wire
to the solenoid. If you have continuity across the two wires, it probably
means there is a smallcarbon build up on the contacts i

Spiro: Every sail will be different, depending on manufacturer, type and size.
I suggest measuring your sail carefully before ordering. Any sailmaker can
provide them, usually at a cost per foot. I think you'll find a 1" x1/8" batten
