Second that. Mount a pad to the bulkhead, bracket (and?) to the pad.
I might not use 5200 however very permanent.

Just as an FYI / data point, I bought a new mainsail for Grenadine this
offseason. I couldn’t justify the cost of a pure racing sail made of exotic
material, so my criteria were a general-purpose durable high-performance sail
of the right weight for the winds at Chatfield Reserv
Most 29-2 windows at this time rest on butyl tape with silicon filler on the
edges.

I just did my SB window last weekend. Will let you know how it fared when I
check this weekend. I used silicon from West Marine to reseal the exterior gap
after cleaning out the old sealant.

What sealant would you choose for these two jobs ?
1 shoring up the seal between the wood frame and the deck on us front hatch ? I
can’t get the wood frame off so I’m just going to have to take off the extra
old sealant stuff off that I can and try to make a good new seal around the
outs
