Agree on the Grey fittings, they are nice quality and tough, but usually for
that Black Plastic underground pipe on a roll, and too big.
I have had the best luck going to a large pool store, those fittings have
worked better for pipe to hose (1 1’2”) than anything else.

My problem is that the Shields hose is loose on the JAbsco outlet. I used
a heat gun to affix the hose to the gray fitting on the holding tank.
Let's hope the replacement outlet fits tightly.
