Hello Listers, while our C&C30-2 is tucked away buried in 2' of snow in Kingston Ontario we've left the frozen north to winter in the Ft. Lauderdale area. I'm looking to get out sailing in the Florida area to get some more experience with navigating around Florida for future cruising in the Caribb

Hi Dwight, I believe a pulpit and lifelines were supplied originally and removing or changing the original design means accepting some liabilty. Don't know of any law except some lifeline requirements for racing which change from time to time and can be different for individual races. Chuck S

Hello Listers, Does anybody know the forestay length of a 30 MK I as it came from the factory, with the rig properly tuned for 8” of mast rake? By geometry (square root of I squared plus J squared) I’d expect it to be in the neighborhood of 41’3”. I is 39’ for a 30 MK I, and J is 13.5’. Accor
