Dennis and I are similarly situated, but I have NX2 (which followed Nexus
Classic). I bought a spare multi-control when Garmin phased out NX2 (very
pricey) to keep the system going. Along with the server, the multi-control is
the heart of the NX2 system. It’s a very good system for my use, an
B&G must think the 213 MHU is still good, as they are still making them and
charging more for them than their newer units. At least they are repairable
- I put new bearings (SS races and ceramic balls) in my old one, and it is
still working - -Knock on wood.

On a general note, I installed a Nexus 2000 system on Touche' in 2000.
It's now known as a Nexus Classic system. Although it has provided good
service, I've been nursing it along by sourcing spares and replacements off
eBay. Nexus classic parts have always been pricey.
