I am loath to recommend any product but I have had too much success with
this to not brag about it. It has worked on aluminum parts and has lasted
for several years. I sprayed my binnacle with black FlexSeal spray. It

I am replacing the old (but very Bright) spreader lights on my C&C 41. With
all the new technology advances, do any of you have a graciously accepted

I have a Simrad hydraulic system that works in most everything on my C&C

conditions,

I have a 1984 41 and I love it. The hull is not a tortured IOR shape. It is
fairly clean. She moves through the water very cleanly. She sails well in
light or heavy air. She is perfectly balanced. She will sail upwind with
the wheel brake on and sail like on an auto pilot. The Dollar/Boatspeed

I have driven our 41 mercilessly. Not because I want to abuse the boat, she
seems to thrive in it. She just feels very tough. We have no creaks or
groans except for the forward cabin door that came loose because of the
motion. The 41 is an impressive design.

My Yanmar 3JH4E has been slowly leaking coolant. I motored for 14 hours and
it lost 5mm of depth in the reservoir. The reservoir is approximately 4"
DIA. I checked thoroughly for visible signs of leaking and found none. Has
anyone had this experience?

I just finished the deck using Kiwi Grip. I am impressed to say the least.
I painted the cockpit sole several months ago as a test. It held up
perfectly and did not seem to stain any worse than other surfaces. It is
ultra easy to apply. It is an Acrylic (or at least water based) and cleans

My Yanmar 3JH4E has a slow coolant leak. It is not getting into the oil and
no visible external leaks can be detected.I remember a post several months
ago about a similar situation but I could not find it. I believe it was
about a seal somewhere in the cooling system that commonly begins to leak.

I made a prototype of these "cockpit filler" to make the cockpit more
suitable for the distance sailing were going to do. The helm seat flips up
for use or under for a flat seat to lay on. There is stowage underneath for

I made it clear under a 65.5 clearance with about 1 foot (estimate) of
instruments above the masthead. It appeared there was a decent margin of
clearance. We have the triple spreader rig.

I placed a transducer on our 41 just behind the keel sump on the
centerline. It is solid glass there as the core does not extend to the
centerline. The overlaps of layers of cloth provide the required thickness.

I just bought a 1984 C&C 41 sailed it from Rhode Island to Tampa Bay. I

It has several gel-cot cracks radiating from the highly loaded hardware. I
am going to try the MagicEzy product to repair these. Assuming C&C used the
same deck gelcoat color on all boats, does
