At our club, each boat is assigned a night to do RC. If they do their night
they are scored their average for the series. If they do not show up the get a
non discarable DSQ.

I had my first sail of the season yesterday. For late April on Lake Ontario it
was great. 10 - 12 knot winds and relatively warm. Shorts, sweatshirt and life
jacket. Re-calibrated Autopilot and wind instruments first.

I have a 1983 CC 37 and greatly change the deck layout. I moved the traveller
from the cabin top to the bridge deck and converted to end boom sheeting. I do
a lot of solo racing and find this arrangement a lot easier to handle.

The Lake Ontario 300 is classed as a cat. 3 race. If we don't have a stability
index for our boat, we can use one from a sister ship if it is available.
