Adjusting a mag compass? I think you would use as azimuth on the sun. Joe Coquina ** some airports will paint a compass rose and you can park your plane in it and note the deviation at various headings. Sometimes what you have on makes a big difference, one airplane I flew would change course about 30 degrees whenever I put the landing lights on ☹
