Rambler seems to be holding its own against Comanche. The gap is only 7 miles, and Yellowbrick lists it in first! Guess I need to wear the NE Boatworks hat I got in Newport! (Harry, thank the boss for including it in the goody bag!) If you have read the blogs, the race has been pretty brutal

Comanche and Rambler started today with the two multihulls. Just now they were running 17.9 and 17 knots respectively. The multihull Phaedo was doing 25.2 knots. Wow! http://yb.tl/transatlantic2015 Dennis C. ___ Email address: CnC-List@cnc-list.com

Really looking forward to the contest between Comanche and Rambler. Start Sunday afternoon. The classic schooner out in front, Mariette of 1915 is gorgeous. What a ride that has to be. Dennis C. Touché 35-1 #83 Mandeville, LA Sent from my iPhone On Jun 30, 2015, at 2:30 PM, Joel Aronson

There is also a wind overlay on the tracker site. Definitely more pressure south of the layline. Second group starts tomorrow. Sunday the big boys start, as does the Marblehead/Halifax race. Didn't see any CC's in that one, but I know one skipper and there are several boats from Annapolis

The 2015 race is on from Newport to England. One of the older, smaller entries is a 1967 CC/Bruckman 41, Dizzy! Less than 2700 NM to go! Big boats start later in the week. Rambler or Comanche for line honors? -- Joel 301 541 8551 ___ Email
