Like Alan, I use standard snap shackles with larger bails for the guys (Ronstan RF6220), smaller for sheets (Ronstan RF6110). I also have the plastic donuts on the guys to make sure the pole end doesn't eat the shackle bails too much. There's no way I'd go with knots for those attachments. I jus
