If you believe the claims the batteries will outlive all of us, but from
what I have read overcharging them or letting them float at high voltage
really shortens their life. There is lots of information about them on
CruisersForum. Some of the writers even seem to know what they are tal

if they do what they claim; what have you learned about the life expectancy of
one of these Lithium batteries? Are there any other side effects (gasses,
odors, fires, etc)
