Engine died while coming in last night with customers on board. I attepted bleeding the fuel but soon enough the shoreline demanded attention. We ended up sailing into into the slip at the BB where the guests were staying. Unlit dock, in the dark, blowing about 20kts in the open and 8kts

I couldn't imagine it where I am now - Deep Cove is at the end of a 1km long narrow high sided channel, wind funnels down its length. Short tacking would be and understatement at 100-200ft from shore to shore. Maybe some day I'll gain the confidence. Remember back to my sailing school days. A
