I never did mine, but thought about it. I think you need to remove the traveler to remove the sprayhood, Then it should be exposed. OR, mine was held in with a screw at the forward end of the plexi. Cut the screw and remove the old one, and don't put a screw in the new one. Joel On Wed, Aug
