Foils: I find it very interesting that the 2024 summer Olympics scheduled for
Paris will have new sailing classes with both "Windsurfing on foils" and
"Kiteboarding on foils".
Remember the race around the Isle of Wight where America won the 100 guinea
cup? Well recently a guy on a foiling kiteboard circumnavigated the island in
6 hours, solo.
Foil designs have improved to the point where standup paddleboarders can use
foils and other foils have been developed for surfing waves. Foils are here to
stay.
