Hello everyone,
A few good birds were at Baseline Reservoir this afternoon including 2
female-plumaged SURF SCOTERS, 4 female RED-BREASTED MERGANSER, 1 adult HERRING
GULL, and 1 SWALLOW Species (color, flight style, date and probability point
towards a Barn, but it was really just too far away
One of our kids just reported 150-200 Sandhill Cranes flying over their house
about 4 blocks west of downtown Louisville.

Bob Chase found the yellow-throated warbler this morning near where it
was first seen yesterday, along the trail in the bird sanctuary at
Lake Estes. He told us it stayed in the same area all the time he was
watching it.
I guess that gave us an excuse for a second cup of coffee
An imm. Harris' sparrow was at our feeders this morning (N. Boulder
county east of US 36).
