Headed out to Pueblo this afternoon from 1 to 5:30.
The Barrow's Goldeneye and Long-tailed Duck (both males) were still
present at the NW SWA boat ramp accessed just west of the Pueblo West
entrance to the state park.
While gulling at the hill behind the visitor's center at 4:45 I had an
adult Gr
I encountered a flock of about 35-40 blue jays at Downing and Speer today,
just before noon and about 4 hours before the snow started to fall. This is
by far the most I have ever seen at one time in Colorado.

Hi all,
Yesterday, Wednesday, the snow was falling lightly at Snowmass during the day
and with the snow there were at least 55 Rosy Finches at the top of Sam's Knob
at the feeder. Mainly Brown-caps, a few Gray-crowned of both forms. At least
7 of the Brown-caps had color bands.

At 4:45 yesterday evening I saw a Chukar crossing Lakeview St at Caley Avenue
in Littleton, very close to Ketring Park. I remember about year ago there were
postings about a Chukar that was seen in Centennial, perhaps there is some
relation?
