Oddly, where I used to live in eastern Massachusetts, the first reports of
migrating Common Grackles in our local area always popped up about the 3rd week
of February, whereas they begin arriving in Colorado almost 5 weeks later. Of
course, these are two different populations of migratory grackl

Partly cloudy skies and slight breeze out of the North this morning on Colorado
Springs's Westside. Only a few Red-tailed Hawks for most of my time there. I
did notice a Peregrine Falcon streaking North above and behind The Scar - which
