It appears that orchard orioles are expanding their range a little bit
westward. I've seen a few show up at Lon Hagler Reservoir southwest of
Loveland in the past several years. Within the last few weeks I have
spotted at least three separate males singing in the cottonwoods. And this
morning,
With the Wednesday Roadrunners group of the Boulder Bird Club, we found 5
Orchard Orioles along the White Rocks Trail across from Teller Farms. There
were only a couple of Bullock's Orioles found which is becoming the norm
along this trail in recent years. It is nice to have a place where the

I observed a white-winged dove today flying from Village at Skyline on Lower
Gold Camp Rd. in Colorado Springs across the road into Bear Creek Park at about
5pm. It flew into the area where the dog park is located.
