In keeping with the recent influx, I saw bushtits at Welchester Tree Park,
8th Ave. in Lakewood today around noon. This is the first time I have seen
them there in over 10 years of birding the site. I counted 24 (!) but may
have missed a couple.

Hi all,
The dam of the Hodgson-Harris Reservoir in Superior is damaged and so they
drained the reservoir over the last few weeks. It is finally to the point that
it has some decent habitat for shorebirds. A quick binoculars-only check this
morning reveal tons of Killdeers and Avocets, and maybe
