However two snow geese overflew our house yesterday morning; can't wait for
the next wave. Must have missed the cranes.
Meadowlarks are singing in the snow today.
Marti and I saw 3 Mt Bluebirds yesterday around noon from Longhorn Road,
Boulder Valley Ranch Open Space.

While spending several hours walking around the Timnath Walmart parking lot at
the northeast corner of I-25 and Harmony (my job is a cart pusher there) I
noticed lots of sparrows and larks flying towards the south. I carefully
started looking and listening to the flocks. After about 8 flocks of
This morning at WCR 31/100 I had about 300-500 Horned Larks hunkered
down on snow in fields; three of which were Lapland Longspurs.
Tonight at 630PM had Short-eared Owl fly up from WCR 100 between WCR
31 and 33.
