I found a first winter (possibly immature female) Black-throated Green
Warbler in Veteran's Park (on H50 across from city admin building) in Canon

The Red Phalarope at the south lake of Adobe Creek Reservoir (Bent
County) was still present late this afternoon (10/29). It was at the
precise location where it was first found on 10/28. Turn west from Bent
County Road 10, drive west several miles on Road UU to the dam, and
drive no
Loch and I scoped Cherry Creek reservoir after we dipped on scoters at
Stanley. The Red-throated Loon and 2 Common Loons were in the SE corner of
the lake. Stanley also had 2 Common Loons.

Hi All,
Today Urling Kingery and I took a Beginning Birder group to Red Rocks
and Bear Creek Lake Park (BCLP). Highlights included seeing a White-
throated Sparrow (adult, white-striped morph) among a small flock of
American Tree Sparrows (10-15) along with one 1st year White-crowned
Spa
The Arctic Tern was actively flying around the reservoir this morning. No
sign of any of the other birds recently reported.

During the 1970s or 1980s, Barbara McKnight, the long-time secretary of New
Mexico Ornithological Society, demonstrated that Black-eared Bushtits, at least
in New Mexico, were juvenile or immature Bushtits. Black-eared Bushtits at that
