I am a Hoosier birder, and will be making the trek from Indiana to Colorado

CBCs already held, but haven't seen any. If any Pacific Wrens are
seen, please report them to COBIRDS, so others can look for them,

A new yard bird for me as well - an immature goshawk, probably a female by
size. She tried out several different fence posts near the barn, probably
looking for rabbits. She then perched briefly on the roof of our garage,
barely 25 feet from me, before flying away.

On the High
I observed the adult Harris's Sparrow yesterday afternoon and this
morning along the edge of the road just past the Boat Inspection
Station in Bear Creek Lake Park (BCLP). I did not see the first year
Harris's at the Boat Launch area, but did not stay long either time.

An adult Harris's Sparrow showed up in my yard this morning. While not a new
yard bird, it added some excitement to the day as we don't see them very often.
