I have now found Black Phoebes in 6 locations from east of Florence to west
of Canon City including public locations at Florence River Park and below
the MacKenzie Ave bridge over the Arkansas. Two of them appear to have
paired up with the pair on my friend's property appear to be checking out

I saw my FOY Barn Swallows (~2 dozen) and a pair of Am. Avocets by a small
pond in Boulder County adjacent to Flatirons Crossing.

Today on what I expected to be a quick visit to Centennial Park, a birding
extravaganza ensued and I spent over 2 hours observing many FOY
species. Over 100 Tree Swallows darting about above the lake was quite
spectacular, my ebird estimate was 110 but I believe there were undoubtedl
I saw my FOY Turkey Vulture over Longmont last Friday. Today is
Monday, April 2nd and the large flock that roosts just west of old
town Longmont is back. I counted 17 this morning as I drove to work.
