Yesterday morning I found several male Bobolink engaged in countersinging
in the middle of some farm fields for which I had permission to enter so I
was able to get within about 80 feet of them. With my longs lens I got

On my way home today at 8pm I saw the breeding-plumaged Common Loon by the
north shore of Baseline Res. No sign of the Red-throated Loon but i only
gave it a 5min scan in the evening light.
I also stopped by earlier in the morning (9am) but missed all loons then.
Did anyone see the R-t Loon today 5

I relocated a single juv. American Dipper at Lowell Ponds SWA (Adams Co)
this afternoon about 7:09 p.m. It was on the rip-rap west of Lowell Blvd,
so I consider it part of the wildlife area.

by putting these coordinates in google maps: 40.040134,-105.149803 ?
Thanks,

Just saw a Worm-eating Warbler on the Apex Trail, adjacent to Heritage Park,
Jefferson County, at 8:30 am. The Warbler was spotted less than a quarter of a
mile into the canyon. The warbler was singing, listen for an odd-sounding
Chipping Sparrow- like song. It was a beauty, hope it is still

While sitting at work this morning at 8:10am, I was granted the pleasure of
