while. several Juveniles with them.
Also, Black-headed Grosbeak, Lazuli Bunting, Bullock's Orioles, Rufous and
Broad-tailed Hummers (mostly juvs and females now) among others.

Hi all,
Sorry for the late report, but we just got back from a 5 day trip based
in Fraser and we don't travel with portable computer devices. On the way
over, Aug. 2, we went up to Echo Lake to look for the Barrow's
Goldeneye family. On arrival at noon they were close to the trail around
Jonelle Balais, Diane Apperson, and I were fortunate to have juvenile Dusky
Grouse cross in front of our vehicle this afternoon at 1:15 in Golden Gate
Canyon State Park. Exact location: 39 51 41.4; -105 26 47.7
Three juveniles crossed road to join mother, after much encouragement by her.
