Sorry for the late post, but we had an actively singing Eastern Wood-Pewee
paired with another, unknown, pewee in Lyons yesterday afternoon (4:00 pm
or so). We were running, so we didn't have binoculars or time to stop for
too long. We will check for it again today. It was on the river

There was a lot of wing-fluttering activity at Crow Valley this cool morning,
always something to look at and think about, 40 species between 8 and 10 am

I had a little time to bird yesterday morning in Pueblo City Park, Pueblo
County. All of these were near the Frisbee Golf Course.

Today, our suburban yard was very active after last night's cool front pushed
through. Before leaving for work before noon we had Red-breasted Nuthatch,
Swainson's Thrush, Gray Catbird, several Black-headed Grosbeaks, several waves
of Chipping Sparrows, lots of male and female Black-chinned Hu
Aside from rampaging deer taking out 3 nets, we had a very pleasant morning,
with lots of birds and nice variety:
