This morning I had a chance to fit in a bit of birding while out in Salida for
work. Among the highlights was a Greater White-fronted Goose with a flock of
150 Canada Geese on the baseball fields in Salida. A flock of 15-20 Cedar
Waxwings included no Bohemians.
At Antero Reservoir I found o
Yesterday morning I saw an American Dipper in the irrigation ditch just north
of the Nature Center. I am told by Ken Pals that this bird is infrequently
seen at Fountain Creek, about once every 4 winters in his experience.
