After Brian G alerted me to an ebird report yesterday, I headed to McIntosh
lake to have a look around. The intersection of Drake and Lakeshore had
trees full of American Robins and one lone Cedar Waxwing.
Driving south on Drake a flock of *Bohemian Waxwings *flew from the
direction of the lake
Hello,
I stopped by Centennial Park this afternoon (2/14/13) around 3:00PM for a
short Gull study, less than 60 Ring-billed, nothing more. I was surprised
to find (5) Double-crested Cormorant. In years past my first observation
has been the second or third week in March. Are these the Adams

Today I spent a fun morning birding in Canon City. The weather was
mostly sunny and fairly pleasant for mid-February.
The highlights:
Pathfinder Park - I'd never been here before. Upon driving in I was
