I took a group this morning up to Ward along the Peak to Peak highway in
Boulder County to do the annual Indian Peaks winter census. Amazingly this is

Nina Ogilvie and I headed out along Hwy 115 near Barrett rd around 10:30 am for
the BOWAs but did not see any. On our way back to town, we stopped at Turkey
Crk Rec. Area on Ft. Carson and at the playground farthest east with the metal
fence around the 'playstation' we saw about 30 BOWAs at noon
