Has anyone else had recent problems with data entry on eBird? I haven't been
able to open the sightings submission function for several days (although the
rest of the site works fine), and the lab hasn't responded to my inquiries.

Went out for an hour or so late-AM bike ride in Lafayette and hit Waneka
Lake, Price Lake #1, and Erie Lake. All lakes are almost 100% ice-free.
By 9AM, Waneka Lake was bereft of waterfowl. About 2 dozen gulls out on the
water, too far out for me to ID with the camera I carried.

Enjoying a mixed flock of Cedar and Bohemian waxwings right now on east
side of central library (Peterson St).

I did some quick birding of Boulder Creek at 75th today around 4:30 and
came across an unusual duck. Its head was shaped like a canvasback's; it
had a beige streak along the bill and a white ring on the bill; and on its
shoulder was something resembling the spur of a ring-necked duck.
Spend a beautiful day up in NE Colorado. Breeze was light, mostly overcast
the whole day.

I got a good look at one Lesser Black-backed Gull at South Platte Reservoir,
this afternoon. I only saw one. I saw 1, Thayer's Gull also. No Long-tailed
Ducks were to be seen. One Say's Phoebe was seen on the eastern fence of the
Reservoir. Yesterday, 2/16, a group of us were helping out
Today, Daren O'Brien and I went to Longmont in search of Bohemian Waxwings.
After searching the neighborhood around Mcintosh Lake we were rewarded with a
nice flock of Cedar and Bohemian Waxwings. Photos of these beautiful birds can
be seen in the rare and uncommon 2013 gallery below:
