Drove up to see the EWidgeon reported by Steve Mlodinow, still there, hanging
out with his American cousins on the east side wetlands. WCR 59, half mile
south of US 34, east of Kersey. If the wind is from the north, the feed lot is
particularly flavorful - my van still smells!

Went to the ponds on W.C.R. 59 and couldn't find the Eurasian Wigeon.
But the winds were super strong in the direction I was facing (that
didn't help at all) and shortly after I arrived nearly every single
duck took off at once for no apparent reason (didn't see any raptors
in sight)...most didn't
I know many of you are still wondering about the white crane that was found at
the MV Refuge a few weeks ago. Since I reported it on COBIRDS, it seems to have
generated quite a bit of chat in the chat rooms.
