There were two hybrid geese at Sharp Point Ponds in Fort Collins this
morning, near Sharp Point Drive and Prospect. One appeared to be a Snow x
Canada/Cackling [white head of Snow, with larger bill and "smile", and body
of Canada/Cackling]; the other appeared to be a Ross's x Cackling (eBirds
does
Yesterday in an otherwise quiet day, Loch Kilpatrick, Chris Owens and I had
two Greater Yellowlegs on the South Platte at Boyd Ponds SW.

For prospective Brant chasers, note that birds start drifting off not long
after sunrise (maybe 30 minutes). There are so many birds in constant motion
(swimming about)!that birds can disappear -- and take a long time to relocate.
