For those of us who still send paper mail from time to time, the Post
Office, starting today, is selling Songbird stamps online, first class
forever.
Why do I mention this on COBirds? Well, some of these beautiful stamps show
Colorado birds, so I’m in the clear. Enjoy!
Today there were 2 Horned Grebe at Manitou Lake. Apparently, Horned Grebe
are unusual in Teller County. They are not on the county list (
coloradocountybirding.org) and there are no sightings posted on eBird.

This morning our Aubudon of Greater Denver Master Birder field trip started out
with a migrant Slate-colored Fox Sparrow along with the winter resident
Golden-crowned Sparrow at the feeders behind the Red Rocks Trading Post. Most
