The Monte Refuge has bountiful numbers of Sandhill Cranes, Canada, Cackling, Snow and Ross’ Geese, Mallards, Pintails, Ring-necked Ducks and many Bald Eagles watching them closely. The refuge still has snow cover which has affected usual feeding and roosting patterns. Best place at the moment is
